Consummation
Consummation is the final track released in 1967 from Nina Simone's album “Silk & Soul”. The music industry tried to pin Nina Simone as a jazz artist, but the truth is, her music spanned several genres: blues, soul, funk, pop, classical and folk. Consummation is a love song based upon Bach figures, and Marissa's searing vocals adds to the depth and complexity of the lyrics of peace and joy.
